Project Overview

From Moodboard To Rail In Ten Weeks

A coastal boutique needed a house resort line: relaxed shirts, wide trousers, wrap dresses and cover-ups in washed European linen. We handled range planning, flats, patterns, grading and the first sample set.

The palette stayed in sand, salt and olive; every piece was cut for airflow and approved on fit models across three sizes before grading.

The Challenge

Linen Moves — Patterns Must Allow It

Washed linen grows and relaxes with wear. We pre-washed all sampling cloth, added hidden ease at stress points and specified shrinkage allowances so the retail fit matches the fitting-room fit.

Our Approach

Fit Models, Not Just Forms

Resort wear lives on bodies, not stands. We fitted on three live models per style and photographed movement — sitting, reaching, walking — before locking each pattern.
