The Ivory Bridal Atelier

Twelve gowns, twelve bodies, one unforgettable spring season.

Project Overview

Twelve Brides, Zero Compromises

A bridal boutique referred twelve brides to us across one spring season — each with a different silhouette, timeline and dream. We designed every gown from scratch: consultation, sketch, toile, three fittings and hand finishing.

Fabrics ranged from mikado to French lace, with two gowns incorporating heirloom veils restored in-house. Every bride collected her gown pressed, boxed and ready for the day.

The Challenge

Twelve Timelines, One Standard

Wedding dates don't move. We staggered consultations so each gown had a six-week making window, with buffer fittings built in for final-week adjustments — the period when bodies and nerves both change.

Our Approach

Toile First, Always

Every bride approved a calico toile before we touched the final cloth. It added a week up front and saved many more in alterations — eleven gowns needed only minor hem tweaks at final fitting.

“My gown fitted so well I forgot I was wearing it — until every guest told me about it. The toile fitting made all the difference.”
