Everyday Denim Refit

Sixty pairs of beloved jeans, rescued from the back of the wardrobe.

Measuring a garment on a mannequin during the refit clinic

Project Overview

Love The Jeans You're With

Over one weekend we ran a walk-in denim clinic: hems, waist takes, taperings and repairs while customers waited, with fitting advice for every body that came through the door.

Sixty pairs were altered across two days. The most common fix — a waist gap on an otherwise perfect jean — takes twenty minutes and saves a garment from landfill.

The Challenge

Couture Skills, High-Street Speed

Walk-ins mean no appointments and no toiles — diagnose, pin, sew and press in under an hour while keeping atelier standards on every seam.

Our Approach

Triage, Then Tailor

A fitter assessed each pair in minutes and routed it to the right machine station — hems, waists or repairs — so the queue kept moving and nobody waited more than a coffee.

Sewing denim on the machine
Stitching alterations in the workshop
Fabric and tools ready for the clinic

“My ten-year-old jeans fit better than the day I bought them. I had no idea alterations could do this.”
